Athletic Training Students |
Aesthetics is the appreciation of beauty in anything: art, nature, science, etc. The four domains of creativity are extending fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. A practical experience that I had this week was working the sidelines of the
Carolina football game as an athletic training student. Setting up the sidelines with water, Gatorade, the athletic training bags, the port-a-cools (the big fans) is a lot of work but emotions that run through the fans to the players onto the field is experience that I will never forget. It starts in the Athletic Training room, all the TVs are off and no one is talking, the silence is something no one wants to break. As soon as you step onto the field the smell of grass, beer, and hot dogs takes over your senses. 2001 sounds C-A-R-O-L-I-N-A runs across the field, Cocky starts to shake the cage, and the players run out. The spirit in the Williams Bryce stadium is unbelievable its impossible to not smile and not be a proud Gamecock. Being on the field during a game is like being onstage at your favorite concert. It was one of the most exciting experiences of my life and I can't wait to do it again this Saturday.
