Assignment #1- Biographical Statement

I took an art foundation class my senior year of high school; my favorite projects that we did were always the drawing ones, but I really enjoy viewing photography. I've been to both museums and art galleries. The Chrysler Museum is the local art museum in Norfolk, Va, which is where I am from. I have also been to Museums in DC, New York, France, and Italy. I've been to many plays, my favorite is Wicked. I dance to have fun and I have fun when I dance, but its nothing serious. I learn best in hands-on situations. I'm taking this class because its a requirement and it seems interesting. I've seen a lot of things that move me, but there is nothing specific. I'm inspired from the art in nature. I consider movies an art form, there is a lot of creativity that goes into them, same goes to video games, comics, and television shows, some not as much as others. Art is good depending on the individual viewing them, so its different for every single person. When I talk about music to my friends usually its about the lyrics, usually for country or alternative, and the beat, for hip-hop and rap. The best movie I saw last year was The Blind Side. I'm not sure what makes and Art film an Art film, but I'm interested in finding out. I have a range of music: country, hip-hop, rap, remixes, alternative, rock, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, I usually set my ipod to shuffle and listen to them all.
